JOB SUMMARY
Physical Demands

  • Work is primarily sedentary in nature.
  • Most of the job is spent communicating with customers and other employees, therefore, must be able to verbally communicate clearly
  • Data entry comprises a large part of the job and some filing is required.
  • You will be required to lift 40 lb. boxes of paper several times per shift to replenish the printer supply
  • This task will require standing, stooping, bending, squatting and lifting
  • You will also have to walk to the Transportation Department to deliver packets on a hand cart which will require bending, pulling and pushing a cart for 600 ft (round trip) 10 times per shift

Mental/Visual Demands

  • You must be able to read text that is close and at a distance with or without correction
  • In addition, you must be able to perform manual tasks, hear, sit, reach, lift, bend, and interact with others

Working Conditions
100% of the job is spent in an office environment
Equipment Operated
A calculator, copier, fax, PC, Microsoft Office applications, telephone and mainframe printer are typical equipment used in this position.
